Feed Components
VertexRSI's Torrance Facility is a leading supplier of antenna feed components for the various commercial and military bands. A patented circular polarized 4-port diplexer meeting all Intelsat specifications leads a full array of products. Products include: 4-Port Diplexers, CP or Linear; 3-Port Diplexers, 2xRx & 1xTx; 2-Port Diplexers, RxTx, X-Pol or Co-Pol, CP or Linear; TE21 Monopulse Tracking Couplers; TE01 Mode Components; Transitions; Filters; Flex Waveguides; Waveguide Bends; Twists; Runs; etc. Many of the items are "off the shelf products". Waveguide Filters & Diplexers
VertexRSI's Torrance Facility designs, fabricates, and electrically tests waveguide filters and diplexers from 1-110 Ghz for the commercial, military and space markets. A full array of standard filters and diplexers is available for the various commercial and military frequency bands. Many are "off the shelf products". Custom designed filters and diplexers for specific customer applications are available. VertexRSI Torrance Facility will, for special applications, design, fabricate and test for exclusive use. Test capabilities include electrical testing from 1-110 GHz, some environmental testing, and a qualified MIL-I-45208A inspection system. Contact us about this product line.
Feed Horns
VertexRSI's Torrance Facility offers standard feed horns for certain prime focus and offset antennas. Custom fabrication is available for specific customer designs. Our unique electroforming manufacturing process lends itself to complex feed horn designs. Re-useable tooling reduces manufacturing costs for complex dual and quad ridged horns. Precision Microwave Components
VertexRSI's Torrance Facility uses its vast resource of standard designs and products for the initial design of many space qualified products, resulting in shorter development cycles and reduced overall costs. Utilizing mostly the electroforming manufacturing process, thin wall lightweight space qualified components can be produced. This process lends itself to very complex internal structures. Designs are performance tested and guaranteed. For full compliance with environmental specifications for space hardware, cooperative arrangements with qualified outside sources are made. Millimeter Wave Custom Waveguide
VertexRSI's Torrance Facility has a unique electroforming process that produces complex waveguide sections, either in copper or nickel. Precise physical overall dimensions, close mechanical tolerances and single piece construction result in increased performances. Internal polished waveguide surfaces result in lower insertion losses. Flanges can be "grown in" for space qualified hardware, ensuring space environmental specification conformance. Contact us about this product line.
Special Products or Custom Fabrication
VertexRSI's Torrance Facility will assist customers with their electrical or mechanical designs. Products proprietary to a customer can be either designed and fabricated, or custom fabricated to a customer's design.
