General Dynamics' New R8000 System Analyzer Combines Several Instruments Into One Lightweight Unit.

Visitors to General Dynamics Booth #708 at APCO 2008 (August 3-7, 2008 Kansas City, MO) will get a glimpse of the future of communications test equipment. The New R8000 communications system analyzer, introduced this year, combines all the power of a bench-top test set in a fully-portable unit.

Ed Mick, Sales Manager for General Dynamics SATCOM Technologies Communications Test Equipment business, said, "Our new R8000 includes the functionality of more than 16 communication test instruments in one compact, lightweight, test set weighing just 14-pounds. The test set also can be set-up for remote operations allowing users to communicate with and control the analyzer through its standard Ethernet port."
