 VertexRSI announced today it has
received Intelsat Type Approval for its 2.4 SFC C-Band antennas and
Europe*Star Type Approval for its 3.8-Meter Dual Offset Ku-Band
antennas.
Intelsat Type approval certificate
numbers IA094A00 and IA094B00 have been received for the 2.4 SFC (Switchable
Flyaway C-Band) antenna in Circular (CP) and Linear (LP) polarized
configurations. Europe*Star's Type Approval ES-ME-29 has been
received for VertexRSI's 3.8 Ku-Band antenna and feed with two-port
linear polarization.
Jeff Porter, Vice President and
General Manager of VertexRSI's Antenna Products, said, "Type
Approval certificates are important to our SATCOM customers. By
selecting these VertexRSI antennas, they will benefit from
guaranteed acceptance into the Intelsat or Europe*Star network and
lower their commissioning costs by significantly reducing or totally
eliminating the requirement for field verification testing. The
success of our type approval program is directly related to our
ability to produce quality antennas with repeated precision."
 VertexRSI also announced
significantly reduced lead-times -- from 16 to as many as 31 days --
for a number of 4.8-Meter antenna configurations and options. Jeff
Johnson Product Line Director, said, "We are continuing to
make our 4.8-Meter products available with greatly reduced lead
times for delivery. We are encouraging customers to call us with
their requirements so that we can give our best estimate for
expedited delivery even on those products that have traditional lead
times of 45 days or more"
