2003 July 8-11 in Washington, DC

Global Communications is creating a new market presence in the
terrestrial microwave antenna market through the acquisition and
merger of two long-time players in the industry: Mark Antennas and
Gabriel Electronics.
Tom Goebelbecker,
Vice President, Microwave Sales, Gabriel products, said, "Our new Gabriel
brand of terrestrial microwave antennas comprises the best products
from each of the former Mark Antennas and Gabriel Electronics
product lines."
The new Gabriel product line
includes:
- Parabolic Grid Antennas (up to
2.7 GHz) consist of the former Mark Antennas products. TriPoint
Global will support Gabriel Electronics grids as legacy
products.
- Parabolic Solid Antennas (up to
40 GHz) consist of the former Gabriel Electronics products. Mark
Antennas solids will also be supported as legacy products.
- Flat Panel Antennas consist of
the former Gabriel Electronics products.
- Point-to-Multipoint Hub Antennas
consist of the former Gabriel Electronics products.
"This product consolidation
allows us to offer our customers the best range of products to meet
their requirements," Goebelbecker added.
All
terrestrial microwave antennas in the Gabriel product line are
manufactured in TriPoint Global's state-of-the-art factory in
Newton, North Carolina.
The 180,000 square-foot facility,
constructed in 2001, incorporates extensive fabrication and
manufacturing capability including CNC machining, TIG and MIG
welding and an on-site spinning lathe with capabilities up to 12
feet in diameter.
A range of specialized departments
including research and development, engineering, prototype
manufacturing, procurement, sales and customer service supports the
manufacturing site.

products," Goebelbecker added.
"We intend to lead the market
by providing technically superior products, competitive pricing and
delivery, and superior customer support before and after the
sale."
Selected products of the Gabriel
brand will be on display in Hall D, Booth 523 during WCA (Wireless
Communications Association) 2003 July 8-11 in the new Washington DC
Convention Center. The WCA organizes the world's largest annual
business conference and exhibition devoted exclusively to wireless
broadband.
