 VertexRSI announced today it has
received three Intelsat Type Approval Certificates for its new
carbon fiber 2.4-Meter Ku and C-Band antenna for vehicle mounted
applications.
Certificate number IA100A00 has been received for the VertexRSI
2.4-Meter SMK-LT-15751 Ku-band standard E-1 Antenna equipped with a
2–port feed. Certificates IA098A00 and IA099A00 have been received
for VertexRSI’s 2.4 SMC-LT-2712C CP (circularly polarized) and 2.4
SMC/LT-2837B (linearly polarized) versions of this product for
Standard H3 and G applications..
Jeff Porter, Vice President and General Manager of VertexRSI’s
Antenna Products, said, “Intelsat Type Approval Certificates allow
our SATCOM customers to select VertexRSI antennas with the certainty
that the products will meet Intelsat performance standards.
VertexRSI’s type approved antennas help lower our customer’s
commissioning costs by significantly reducing, and in some cases
eliminating, the requirement for field verification testing.”
The product is currently shipping with various integration kits on
orders for multiband configurations including L, C, X, Ku and Ka
Band applications.
